Acute cervical spinal cord injury is a serious trauma disease which has the characteristics of high morbidity and mortality rates. In recent years, great progress has been made in the basic and clinical research of acute cervical spinal cord injury. Reasonable surgical timing can better promote the recovery of spinal nerve function, but there is no uniform standard for when the operation is performed. We review the treatment op- portunity of acute cervical spinal cord injury in this paper.
