At present, there is a serious shortage of professional talents in our TCM health service industry. The ability and scale of professional talents training of colleges and universities in the field of TCM health service can’t meet the requirements of the rapid development of TCM health services. Therefore, it is imperative to strengthen the applied undergraduate education in TCM health service industry. This paper conducts a study from the aspect of TCM development supply side structural reform, talent shortage and so on, makes a countermeasure analysis of ap- plied undergraduate education in TCM health service industry, and illustrates that it is feasible to promote the construction of undergraduate universities and carry out the applied talents cultiva- tion of TCM health service based on the domestic TCM colleges.
