万方数据 万方数据 Abstract Abstract This report is based on the translation of Globalization and Culture (extracts), which is mainly about the relationship between globalization and culture. It describes and summarizes the translation process and translation methods adopted in the translation. The report gives a brief introduction of the problems encountered during the translation process. The report consists of four parts, which are translation task presentation, translation process, translation case analysis and summary. The first part mainly focuses on the main content of the translated material and information of the author. The second part includes pre-translation preparation, translation methods adopted during the translation, the original translation and its modification, difficulties encountered in the translation process. The third part analyzes the difficulties in the translation of words and syntax by giving specific examples. The fourth part describes what the translator has learned from the translation and how to solve the difficulties met during the translation process. By looking back on the translation process, the writer can improve herself in the future. From the translation practice, the translator further realizes her weakness in translating and will have more practice in the future.
