The IFN-? of flu model group was lower than that of other groups respectively (P0.05) and was comparable with that of “QiXiang aerosol” high-dose group. The TNF-a of normal control group was lower than that of flu model group, of positive control group, of “QiXiang aerosol” low-dose group and of “QiXiang aerosol” middle-dose group respectively (P0.05); The TNF-a of flu model group was higher than that of “QiXiang aerosol” middle-dose group and of “QiXiang aerosol” high-dose group respectively (P0.05). The lung index of normal control group was lower than that of flu model group and of positive control group respectively (P0.05); The lung index of flu model group was higher than that of normal control group, of “QiXiang aerosol” low-dose group, of “QiXiang aerosol” middle-dose group and of “QiXiang aerosol” high-dose group respectively (P0.05). The weight gain of normal control group was higher than that of flu model group and of positive control group respectively (P0.05); The weight gain of flu model group was lower than that of normal control group, of “QiXiang” middle-dose group and of “QiXiang” high-dose group（P0.05）. The death rate of flu model group was higher than that of other groups respectively (P0.05). The inflammatory changes in lung tissue of all the three “QiXiang aerosol” groups were comparable with normal control group and were more trivial than that of flu model group and of positive control group. Conclusion: The results show that “QiXiang aerosol” pretreatment can reduce pulmonary pathological damage of flu mice and modulate the immune response of lungs. The pretreatment of “QiXiang aerosol” can cut down mortality of flu mice.
