Since all kinds of sturgeons had been placed on the appendix of The International Trade In Endangered Species Of Wild Animals And Plants Convention (CITES) in 1997, the international community paid great attention on the endangered status of sturgeon.The protection and the sustainable utilization of sturgeon resources become important study issue for the world scholars . . This paper based on the sturgeon trade date in 2000-2009 from Convention on the Internation Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora(CITES) and the import and export of sturgeon trade date in 2003-2009 from Chinese customs, we Analyze the international and domestic trade status and annual change trend of sturgeon.Further analysis the existing problems and the insufficiency in sturgeon trade data management of China and CITES, and puts forward some Suggestions wish to help the resources protection and management of China sturgeon, and promote the sustainable utilization of the resources in China sturgeon. Through this research, we get the following results: 1、The results show that there are 68 export countries and 132 import countries in the international sturgeon trade, involoving all of the continents. European have the most export countries,accounting for 44.1% of the total export countries, Asian have the most export exports, accounting for 48.9% of the total exports. 2、Asian have the most import countries, accounting for 28.8% of the total number of importing countries, European have the most imports, accounting for 63.3%
