哈尔滨工业大学工商管理硕士学位论文 哈尔滨工业大学工商管理硕士学位论文 - - II - Abstract With the rapid growth of Chinese wealthy market after the financial crisi s, golden customers, especially the private banking clients, have become the focus of the competition between Chinese-funded banks and foreign banks. Mature effective business models have been used by foreign banks to set up private banking situations in Beijing, Shanghai and other cities. There are more high net wealth individuals whose capital is more than ten million in these cities. The priorities for the development of commercial banks are focused on how to expand the number of private banking clients, how to satisfy customers needs in private banking, and how to keep a stable economic benefits. The article summarized the present situation of the research on the relevant problems of the private banking services at home and abroad. The article clarified the differences between private banking business and other financial business. With Heilongjiang branch of BOC as the subject of study, the article analyzed the present situation of the development of private banking service in Heilongjiang branch of BOC by combining theoretical analysis with empirical study. The main problems are: The subdivision of clients is not enough; the service process needs to be optimized; the monotony of services; there is short of inter-disciplinary personnel; channel coverage of channel is low; the system of performance assessment needs to be improved urgently. The superiority and disadvantages, opportunities and threatens have been figured out by SWOT analysis. We propose development strategy such as subdividing customers, optimizing service process, innovating products, cultivating talents, building channels and assessing performance based on the foreign advanced experiencesof private banking business for a long-term development of the Heilongjiang branch of BOC.
