With the large container ships,the large-scale shore container crane as unloading equipment shore type container crane has become an inevitable trend. Handling device is more efficient at present, nothing can replace the loading bridge, but the crane itself has a variety of improved scheme. Through the analysis and research of the automated container terminal at home and abroad, we try to explore new type of handling process. New type quayside container crane can reduce the times of sling and the ship container alignment, it means reduce auxiliary operation time, reduce auxiliary operation time, with double beam structure, using the trolley for container in horizontal transportation, avoid the traditional wire rope sling with the deflection and vibration. Calculation results of handling efficiency compared with conventional quayside container crane, has obviously improved.
