The result of the analysis of tbe utílization actuality and the potential of the urban land would supervise the potential digging and reconstruction of the int.e.r ior city，and meanwhile，it could effect as the reference for the plan of the urban and the land. This paper takes DeYang City as an example， expatiates the clues for the analysis of the utilization actuality and the potential of the commercial land.ηlis paper is made up of three parts. The first part mainly narrates the basic economic theories of the land s use，and the second part mostly tells about the goal of the land s use and how to realize the goal; the last but the important part ， takes DeYang City as the example，analyses the uti.lization actuality and do the study on the potential of commercial land.
