It is very mi portant for disaster reduction to develop the assessm ent of reg ional d isaster situat ion. Th is paper fin ishes the assessm ent o f reg ional disaster situation and sum- m arizes the regulation o f the reg iona l disaster intensity and spatia l d istribut ion u sing the data from 2000 to 2007. The indicators, u sed in the assessm en t, include the affected-popu lat ion, the death to ll, the evacuated popu la tion, the area o f the affected crop, the area o f the crop w ithout outcom e, the num ber of co llap sed bu ild ings, the num ber of dam aged bu ild ings, and the direct econom ic loss.
