With the development of the city ，the citys increasing demand on water resources，making the serious destruction of urban waler environment ，wate r qualily continues to deteriorate Zaohe River in Xian is a main tributary of the Weihe River，the current water quality deterioration has become a sewage river ，loss of self-purification function， affecting the citys ecological environment ，il has seriously poUllted the Wei he River ln this paper，it conducted coastal outfall between Zaoh e River sectio n and the Zaohe River into the Weihe River section ，the total length of about 6 km，and in accordance with the nature of sewage，the sewage outfall ty 肘，sewage law of statistics. Among them ，the number of industtia l sewage outfall is 20，sewage olllfaU account fOt 门%;li舱，and mixed sewage out也11 accounted for 55% and 34%; the sewage oulfaU is mainly pipe ernissions based ，there are 1剖;interrnittent sewage，recurrent discharge， recunenl non-sewage oulfall were 12 、100、73 This sludy has 13 quality monitotin g sections of river waler，and monilor conlinuous ly from Decembe r 2009 to July 2010 dllling the period，the main waler quality indicators are COD 、BOD5 ，TN 、N}L-N 、TP and so on. 1be water quality monitoring results show that: Zaohe River is organic polluting river ，the main pollutant is COD、BOD5 NT-L -N，are worse than Grade V.
