Our survey tried to make a research about homeplace resources for the Grade 1-9 Curriculum and can further form the teaching material for local education. Since the principles of indigenous teaching materials w ere not emphasized in the Grade 1-9 curriculum guidelines of social studies, it is not proper to reuse the past homeplace construction, instead, looking for the significant living places in students’ homeplace is far more important. In our survey, w e use the concept of Time geography formed by Dr. Torsten Hägerstrand’s to understand the living places of students and their everyday route. According to the concept of Time geography, the “bundles” of homeplace formed by students’ life are the most important social nodes for students, consequently, the survey of “bundles” should be the basis for teachers to organize their teaching material in local education classes. The other places which could not form bundles should be their second choice.
