Arterial stiffness in high altitude area comparative analysis between different diseases Abstract Objective: To research analysis of arterial stiffness variation between different diseases at high altitudes, and further draw the relationship between arterial stiffness in patients with essential hypertension and diabetes. Method: The study is mainly choose high altitudes (more than 2280 meters above sea level) in patients with essential hypertension and diabetes each 100 cases and 100 healthy volunteers, respectively, as the hypertension group and diabetes group, as well as health groups, and related information collected clinical data. The application fully automatic arteriosclerosis detector vP a 1000 determination of brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (braehial off ankle pu1Se wavevelocity baPWV) reaction in patients with peripheral arterial stiffness, and all enrolled patients were measured brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV), ankle-brachial index (ABI) and carotid intima-media thickness (IMT).
