2015 Interim Results Investor Conference 6 August, 2015 Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation Limited Agenda  Welcome  2015 Interim Financial Results  Prospects and Future Plan  QA Session 2 2015 Interim Overview  The Company’s sales were RMB385.9 million in 1H2015, remained flat from RMB385.4 million in 1H2014.  Gross margin was 15.3% in 1H2015, down 90 basis points from 1H2014, mainly attributable to an unfavorable product mix and a decrease in the average selling price, partially offset by higher utilization rate and variable costs savings.  The 8-inch equivalent wafer shipment increased by 1.2% to 223,096 units in 1H2015 from 220,539 units in 1H2014.  The overall capacity utilization rate was 75% in 1H2015, up 4 percentage points from 71% over the same period of last year.  The Company’s cash and cash equivalents as at 30 June 2015 was RMB495.1 million, compared to RMB479.6 million as at 31 December 2014.  The Company recorded net profit of RMB21.9 million, earnings per share of RMB1.43 cents in 1H2015, compared to net profit of RMB20.6 million, earnings per share of RMB1.34 cents in 1H2014. 3 2Q2015 Overview  Sales were RMB212.2 million in 2Q2015, up 22.2% from RMB173.7 million in 1Q2015.  Gross margin significantly improved to 19.9% in 2Q2015 from 9.5% in 1Q2015, mainly attributable to higher level of capacity utilization rate.  The 8-inch equivalent wafers shipment was 123,127 units in 2Q2015, an increase of 23.2% from 99,969 units in 1Q2015.  The overall capacity utilization rate was 81% in 2Q2015, up 12 percentage points from 69% in 1Q
