Sichan Agricultural University , Ya a n 25014, Sichan Province, China) Abstract: An experiment is conducted for testing the greatest strength of herb root system meanw hile mea- suring the root diameter under the condition of the greatest tensile strength. It provids where root w as tore out and the potential root tensile strength is caculated.
