苏州德威英国国际学校  Dear Parents,    Year 7 Curriculum Newsletter Trinity Term 2009              We cannot believe we are starting the Trinity Term already, where have the weeks gone?  Looking at the calendar and forthcoming events it is going to be a busy and exciting term.               As in the previous terms you can find attached to this letter an overview of the academic  content that will be covered this term in all subjects.  During the week beginning 26th May  we will hold exams in both core and foundation subjects. The students will be given more  information regarding this nearer the time.     There  will  be  an  opportunity  to  discuss  the  progress  of  your  child  on  the  Parents  Consultation Day, Monday 29th June.    This term Mr Oszczypala will introduce an Art and DT homework. The schedule for Year 7  will be as follows Art homework on alternate Wednesdays and DT on alternate Thursdays.    There has already been one highlight to the term with our Year 7 trip to Hangzhou. We had  a great time, with the Song dynasty show and the water park being particularly enjoyable.  With Sports Day still to come and much more besides, it promises to be an action packed  term indeed.    We thank you for your continued support and should you have any concerns encourage you  to contact us via your child’s diary or by email.        Warm Regards          Lesley Lopez    Ryan Campbell  Form Tutor 7D    Form Tutor 7C  1 YEAR SEVEN TERM PLAN TRINITY TERM LITERACY Word Level • Correct vowel choices, including: vowels with common alternative spellings, the spellings of high-frequency words including common homophones; • Recognise and record per
