In the space,“the weak??weak effect” and “the polarization effect” is very common among regions,and the radiation effect of the developed area is not strong. Finally,this article proposes a development pattern that takes the cities of Urumqi and Karamay as “double cores”. 　　Key words：difference in economic development;factor analysis;spatial autocorrelation;economic zone 　　 　　引 言 　　 　　区域经济发展水平及差异是区域经济发展中面临的重大实践问题，一直是区域经济学研究的核心问题之一。区域经济发展空间的差异具有普遍性，认识经济区内各区域单元的空间经济发展差异及存在于各区域单元之间的空间经济关联，可以为区域经济发展提供有利的决策支持，从空间角度解决区域经济发展中存在的差异问题。[1]本文以新疆天山北坡经济带8个市和3个县为研究单元，通过DPS软件定量分析以及GIS空间统计分析揭示了新疆天山北坡经济带县域单元上的经济发展差异及其空间动因。 　　 　　一、基于因子分析的天山北坡经济带?は厥芯?济发展差异 　　 　　（一）天山北坡经济带县域经济发展差异多指标综合评价 　　经济发展水平是一个综合性的概念范畴,是诸多因素共同作用的结果,不可能用一个或几个指标就能全面反映[2],故经济发展水平评价不仅要考虑到经济发展的总量指标，而且还要考虑到反映城市经济发展后劲和潜力的综合指标[3]，应从经济规模、经济效益、产业结构、基础设施、人口素质、生活质量等方面去考察。本文选取以下9个指
