Abstract
The focus of the curriculum reform is to change the tendency of traditional language teaching, which is focused on the results and ignored the process. The purpose is to convert the traditional teacher-centered form into student-centered form to improve students’ practical abilities and cultivate students’ innovative consciousness. In this thesis, the author explores the research of effectiveness and practicality of dialogic reading teaching so as to improve senior high school English reading teaching and improve students’ reading comprehension. Compared with the traditional reading teaching, dialogic reading teaching helps improve students’ learning enthusiasm and initiative, making students involve fully in classroom teaching, and obtaining a good teaching effect.
