[摘要] 色域绘画从早期的意象绘画逐渐萌芽发展衍变为单纯由色块和色域所构 成的画面，其间经历了画家对色彩及画面空间的解构，融合了画家自身精神层面 的蜕变和强烈的情感抒发。文章综合论述了色域画派的起源、发展及影响，结合 色域画派的代表人物、主要特点及思想流变进行了深入地探讨，撷取色域画派鼎 盛时期最具代表性的艺术家--马克·罗斯科、巴奈特·纽曼、克利福德·斯蒂尔 等进行重点分析，通过对色域绘画本源（历史、宗教及原始艺术）的研究入手， 从根本上反映出色域画派的风格、思想、内涵与外延，并结合二战后美国文化战 略这一影响色域画派发展的重要外部因素进行分析，全面地呈现出美国色域画派 的发展历程、政治背景以及时代风貌。 [关键词]色域画派、意象绘画、色域、文化载体、文化战略 [Abstract] Color field painting, originated from the early ideographic pictures and gradually developed into the form of image that composed of pure color zone or color field. During the process, the artists experienced the deconstruction of color and the pictorial space of composition, along with the integration of the artists own spiritual transformation and strong emotional expression. The essay explores the origins, developments and the impact of color field painting, especially with the discussion of representative color field painters--from their main features and ideas to their transformation in deep minds. The article captures the most representative artists during the heyday of the color field painting school--Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman, Clifford Still, etc. With the regard to history, religion and primitive art aspects, the writer tried to reconstruct the color field painting schools style, ideas, connotation and extension, combined with the Cultural Strategy of the United States after World War II which affected the development of color field painting school as important external factors, and to reflect the comprehensive background of color field painting connected with American history, political background and modern time features. [Key words]color field painting, ideographic pictures, color field, carrier of culture，culture strategy 绪论 二战后于美国出现的抽象表现主义运动历来在现代艺术史上占有极为重要 的位置，而色域画派做为抽象表现主义中极其重要的组成部分也一并受到艺术史 学家们的重视。本文的主题为二战后美国色域画派研究，主要着眼于 1945 年后 色域画派从萌芽到逐渐发展直至二十世纪五、六十年代达到鼎盛时期的全过程， 同时对这期间艺术家们的思想流变和艺术风格的转型也进行了深入的探索。 在本文的写作过程中，作者参考阅读了大量与美国色域画派、抽象表现主义 运动、美国二战后现代艺术及美国文化战略相关的文章和书籍，在此基础上进行 分析、整理，并走访了国内多家图书馆、艺术馆及美国华盛顿国家美术馆，力求 获得最具学术
