Using the FOB as the price, in accordance with the International Chamber of Commerce, General 2000 provides that the importer is responsible for booking a charter, and the exporter is responsible for shipping within the prescribed time at the named port of shipment. As FOB is currently used in export transactions, the exporter should be aware of the various problems under FOB and handle them flexibly. In trade practice, mostly both parties modify the content of management to meet the needs of trading. And some changes may change the nature of the term FOB. Fully understanding the meaning of FOB and the risks during the trade process，exporters can effectively avoid them and take timely measures to minimize the risks of both sides. It’s an effective solution to the dispute among the performance of the contract.
