Abstract Abstract The brake treadle used frequently during vehicle moving, its manufacturing quality related to driving safety directly. The main body is a stamping plate with one end non-separated connect to a tube which for treadle shaft through. Traditional way of connection is welding, there are some problems such as reduced material performance, low production efficiency, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a riveting or other quality assured and more efficient production process. This paper put forward and did a preliminary study of tube two-segment bulging riveting plate connection technology ,the main content is as follows. (1) Briefly introduced the bulging and riveting process related to this study, and the characteristics of two kinds of connection are summarized, analyzed. (2) According to the panel characteristics of three spline circumferential uniform distribution,the author used three-dimensional modeling software CATIA constructed an 1/6 circle numerical model,at last a numerical simulationof tube two-segment bulging riveting plate process carried out by a finite element analysis software Deform-3D.The deformation zone forming force-stroke, equivalent stress and strain, degree of damage had been analyzed, and the influence on the effect of pipe thickness on forming had been tested by group. (3) The representative characteristic data of the tube had been analyzed through the Deform-3D point tracking function. Study shows that the deformation region stress and strain value i
