试谈英语疑问句衰变及其语用语义功能 　　摘 要：“有疑而问”“相互询问或要求”，是疑问句的最根本属性。但由于语境和交际目的的多样性，疑问句派生了其他许多“无疑而问”“明知故问”的功能。又由于兼有其他功能的派生疑问句在表层形式上和原生疑问句可以相当接近，也可以相差甚远。这便使得对疑问句衰变现象有研究的必要。文章将对有疑而问到无疑而问嬗变过程和与之相对应的句法变化进行实例探究，阐述英语疑问句从探询信息向确认信息，强化情感的其他语用功能及语义信息。 　　关键词：英语疑问 衰变形式 语用语义 　　Abstract: Mutual inquiries and requirements about queries are the most fundamental attribute of interrogatives.
