College of Social Science, Shanghai University, Shanghai 200444, China) Abstract: Using DEA endogenous weight and Malmquist index, this paper constructed a dynamic environmental and economic performance index, and analyzed the industrial environmental performance of the Yangtze River Basin. The results show that the industrial environmental performance of the Yangtze River Basin improved due to ecological efficiency improvement and environmental technology, but the main reason is the improvement of environmental technology. The worse industrial environmental performance of some individual provinces is due to their ecological efficiency deterioration. The technical level of the overall environment is improving, but the effect of industrial technological progress closes to Hicks neutral. Therefore, we shoul
