Abstract In this paper, the relationship of personality, subjective well-being and gratitude of college students were investigated in order to improve the subjective well-being and gratitude level of them, to explore the more efficient gratitude intervention methods, to promote the perfection of students’ personality and to provide psychological basis for building a harmonious society. In this study, 595 college students were selected randomly from five colleges and universities as research subjects. They were measured by Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (China Edition), General Well-Being Schedule and the revised “College Students Gratitude Questionnaire”. The dates were processed by using SPSS17.0. This article comprehensively studied the effects of demographic variables on college students personality, subjective well-being and gratitude, analyzed the relationship between college students personality, subjective well-being and gratitude, explored the mediating effects of subjective well-being between the personality and gratitude. The conclusions are as follows: The lie ( L ) and psychoticism ( P ) of college students’ personality are significantly different on the origin of students. The lie of the countryside students is significant higher than the students from city. On the contrary, the psychoticism of city Students is higher than the countryside students. The lie of college students is also different on the sexuality. The girls are higher than boys.
