法庭话语中的不礼貌现象研究外国语言学与应用语言学专业论文

Acknowledgements I‘d like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the teachers in the School of Foreign Languages, Hunan University of science and technology, and who have greatly benefited my intellectual growth in linguistic studies through their inspiring lectures. My cordial appreciation goes to Associate Professor Hu, my supervisor. Without his professional guidance, enlightening advice, kind encouragement and invaluable reference books, this thesis would be impossible. First of all, he introduced me into the field of linguistics; the courses he offered and the academic experience he imparted enlarged my horizon and imbued me with initiative and creativity. Moreover, he made a lot of corrections and suggestions as to the language use and improved some ideas in my paper. I would also like to express my gratitude to all my teachers in the School of Foreign Studies, to whom I owe much of my knowledge in the English language, linguistics, literature and translation theories during three-year graduate study. They are Prof. Liu Jinming, Prof. Xu Lijie, and Prof. Zhou Qiqiang. Wang Jing. Zhang Ruihong. Meng Jiangang.. Their lectures have broadened my knowledge and horizon. I have benefited a lot from their earnest teaching which are of great help to my study. I must sincerely express my gratitude to my classmates Wang Ming, Zhu Shanshan, and my husband Liu Wenli, who have experienced the hardship with me and unselfishly supported me whenever and wherever. Last but not least, I‘d like to appreciate my family and my friends, without whose love and support, this research and my graduate studies would not have been finished. Abstract Courtroom discourse is a typical institutional discourse which is usually goal-directed and task-oriented in specific locations, which has its specific procedures and rules. Impolite language is one against standard language based on the presumption of communication between both sides from a pragmatic non-adaptive under certain conditions. I
