宁夏医科大学硕士研究生学位论文英文摘要 宁夏医科大学硕士研究生学位论文 英文摘要 II II Comparative study of the Uni-PLIF and PLIF in the treatment of Degenerative lumbar instability syndrome Abstract Objective To compare the clinical results between unilateral paraspinal muscular stripped approach and traditional approach in the treatment of degenerative lumbar instability syndrome and explore the indications. Methods A prospective study of 52 cases suffering from degenerative lumbar instability syndrome between February 2010 to December 2012 were treated in the Orthopedics of the Affiliated Hospital of NingXia Medical University, the cases were divided into PLIF group(bilateral pedicle fixation and lumbar interbody fusion, n=28) and Uni-PLIF group (unilateral pedicle fixation and lumbar interbody fusion, n=24,) . VAS and ODI scale system were respectively used to evaluate the preoperative and postoperative of the low back pain and function. To compare the change of lumbar intervertebral height、 intervertebral sagittal Shift and lumbar lordosis angle at lateral radiographs preoperatively and postoperatively. The lumbar interbody fusion was assessed by the Suk’s method. Results Average follow-up was 24 months. Uni-PLIF group had less blood loss , operation time and hospitalization time. the Uni-PLIF group was less than PLIF group(P＜ 0.05). Uni-PLIF groups postoperative VAS and ODI scores for low back pain and function at 3 months follow-up and final follow-up were better than PLIF group(P ＜ 0.05), with significant inter-group difference(P＜0.05). The intervertebral height and lumbar lordosis angle increased significantly at final follow-up compared with preoperative in each group(P＜ 0.05), with no significant inter-group difference(P＞0.05). Angle of the fusion levels at final follow-up had decreases in each group(P＜0.05), with no significant inter-group difference(P ＞0.05). III III Conclusion The Uni-PLIF and PLIF can both achieve satisfactory clinical outcomes in treating of degenerative lumbar
