However, with the development of our economy and more and more people, the aggravation of water pollution, the contradiction between water and people become more prominent, how to make better use and protect the water resource has become one of the problems that we need to address. Urban sewage treatment plant as the most important facility of sewage treatmen more and more get the attention of people. Give full play of the role of the sewage treatment plant can release the pressure of the water environment, achieve sustainable development of resource and environment. Luoyang jianxi sewage treatment plant was built in 1998, one of the earlier and large treatment plant in Henan province, treatment of water is 200,000 cubic meter/day, using of A2/O process, output water being designed can reach to the B in first grade standard. After years of running, obvious changes have taken place in wastewater quality, and the effluent water quality can not meet the latest standards, according to the relevant national laws and regulations, some measures must be taken to upgrade to meet the A in first grade standard. Thesis comparative analysis the process used in the waster treatment at home and abroad firstly, and introduce the process used in the wastewater treatment plant of Jianxi Luoyang,points out the present problems of the sewage treatment plant. Through analysis of current input and output water quality,draw a conclusion that the output water quality can not reach to the A in first grade standard. Upgrading is focused on using advanced treatment to improve the removal rate of SS、TN and TP, and modify the biological treatment process,to ensure the effluent water quali
