Existentialism in Contemporary China Abstract The thesis casts the sight on a kind of philosophy, which is still quite unfamiliar to many Chinese peopleExistentialism. It helps to clarify the meaning of Existence by means of interpreting the core category of Existentialism and further exploit the existential ideology of Marx’s philosophy on the basis of probing into the theory resources of Existentialism. In addition, the thesis also elaborates the great significance of Existentialism in the present age with the globalization backdrop. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part makes clear which is the core category of Existentialism and what is the constructive direction for contemporary philosophy research; the second part discusses the theory resources of Existentialism, it respectively reviews and investigates the individual existential idea of modern western Existentialism and the existential wisdom of Chinese traditional philosophy; the third part investigates into the existential ideology of Marx’s philosophy, emphatically demonstrates the creation course for Marx’s existence-practiceidea; the fourth part reveals the contemporary value of Existential Turn.
