Abstract Lοcal cultural museum is the fastest growing museum category in recent years . Though comparing with other museum category researching the formation and development history of local cultural museum，伽is paper seeks to 陀佛establish its concept，puts forward that the cul阳ral zone category is the decision evidence of local cultural museum ， and to sums up follwing three typical features of local cultural museum: t it is no time limit but regional limit，it has character which is not only emphasis the history records and it has categorization instead of synthesis 1- or specificity.
