万方数据 万方数据 Abstract Urban rail transit wil become the main artery of urban public transport because of its outstanding advantages in these aspects such as the quality and quantity transportation, economy and energy in the future. Nowadays, in the planning of urban rail transit, the routes are usally set based on the direction of passenger flow and the stations are set based on the passenger center of distribution. Urban rail transit network is gradually taking shape with the change of the direction of passenger flow and the passenger center of distribution, and its planning period is generally short. But the infrastructure of urban rail transit will be relatively stable in a long period of time, and the network performance of urban rail transit will have an important impact on the network operation. Therefore, the study of a typical urban rail transit network performance is of great importance. It can provide references for the planning of urban rail transit, and give consideration to both the external factors like the traffic demand and the important internal factors like the network structure performance. In order to make the research more targeted, firstly, this paper analyzes the research state at home and abroad, and summarized the main problems. Secondly, it analyzes basic theoretical knowledge associated with, including the concept and the main development of network science and graph theory; the main concepts and indicators in the study of complex networks such as degree, shortest path length, clustering coefficient, effectivity (efficiency), betweenness and closeness centrality; and the characteristics of random network, small world networks and scale-free network. Finally, it analyzes the characteristics of urban rail transit network, including the formation mode, the basic style of route and the overall characteristic.
