(Definition of Public Health Nurse) Article 2 The term Public Health Nurse as used in this Act means a person under licensure from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to use the title of Public Health Nurse and provide health guidance as a profession. (Definition of Midwife) Article 3 The term Midwife as used in this Act means a woman under licensure from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to practice midwifery or provide health guidance for pregnant women, puerperal women, or newborn babies, as a profession. Article 4 Deletion (Definition of Nurse) Article 5 The term Nurse as used in this Act means a person under licensure from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare to provide medical treatment or assist in medical care for injured and ill persons or puerperal women, as a profession. (Definition of Assistant Nurse) Article 6 The term Assistant Nurse as used in this Act means a person under licensure from the prefectural governor to do as set forth in the preceding Articles under the direction of a physician, dentist, or Nurse, as a profession.
