To the main designers of the signage system, the design program of the signage system is always conducting in plane software system, which can not display stereoscopic effect efficiently, also can not measure the application effect of the signage monomer installing in the environment previously. At the same, path query function and signage roaming function are rarely alone supplied by a design company, thus resulting in the functionality and integrity of the entire signage system design. Nowadays common business cards always constitute in geometry, and then endow with different materials and colors depending on the signage position. This laid the foundation for the establishment of parametric model for the signage monomer. Based on that, The three dimensional parametric design technology is introduced into the design process, based on Visual Basic programming and develops by the secondary development technology of SolidWorks. This paper presents a software tool towards signage system design. This can help designers to complete the parametric design of the signage system model, installation of the signage monomer, route query, signage roaming.
