Moreover, it has a broad application prospect in many fields such as military and commercial fields. With the in-depth study of the theoretical and experimental research, the tracking technology is continually improved and becoming mature. The purpose of tracking is to provide an effective support for capturing and combating the target. To achieve this task, we must timely and accurately distinguish the moving target and obtain the motion parameters of the object such as displacement, speed and acceleration. It is necessary to design a system of tracking target which is smaller, more cost-effective and has higher data-processing capability. Along with the development of computer and modern electronic design technology, especially the emergence of the programmable system on chip SOPC (System on Pro-grammable Chip), it is mostly possible to realize these objectives. This paper, based on the study of moving target research, gives us a new solution which is using the techno-logy of SOPC to realize the task of tracking moving target. In this paper, it has described the situation and existing problems of the tracking moving target technology, and on this basis, some key techniques of the moving target tracking system are studied. First, the experimental environment and conditions of moving object is set and the target motion model also is established.
