Abstract:When thefeedmoleratioofwatertomethylacetate reaches2.0, the ratio oftopreflux to feed
methyl acetate rangesfrom1.8to 2.53andthe feedspace velocityofmethylacetate is0.442, theconv-
ersion of methylacetate by catalyticdistillationtechnology isashighas57%andtheweightratiooface-
tate acid towaterinthe hydrolysismixture ishigherthan1.3.Comparedwiththe conventionaltechnolo-
gy, the catalytic distillation technology hasa lot of advantages.
