51 永嘉乱后侨姓、吴姓世族的互动与  江南文化性格的形成 姚 蓉 内容摘要：东晋南朝是世族势力最盛的时期，世族对社会影响至巨。永嘉南渡后 侨姓世族与吴姓世族的冲突与融合，又对江南文化性格的形成影响至巨。侨姓世 族在政治上对吴姓世族的拉拢和打压，是江南文化性格由刚转柔的重要契机。侨 姓世族倡导的玄学影响了吴姓世族的思想观念，从精神自由、闲适情趣、隐逸风 气等方面造就了江南文化“逸”的品质。侨姓世族与吴姓世族的文艺交往与文艺 创造，提升了江南文化的水准，促成了江南文化性格由“朴”向“文”转变。后 世江南文化所具备的“柔”、“逸”、“文”三种品质，已在东晋南朝时期形成。 关键词：永嘉之乱；侨姓世族；吴姓世族；柔；逸；文 作者简介：姚蓉（1972- ），女，湖南长沙人，文学博士，教授，博士生导师， 从事中国古代文学研究。本文为上海市浦江人才计划资助项目“上海地区文化世 族与文学发展研究”，项目批准号 12PJC015。 Title: The Interactions Between the Aristocratic Families Surname Qiao and Surname Wu After The Yongjia Rebellion and the Formation of Cultural Character in Areas South of the Yangtze River Abstract: The Eastern Jin Dynasty (317-420 A.D.) and the Southern Dynasties (420- 589 A.D.) is the era when power of aristocratic families reached its peak. The influence of aristocratic families on society is tremendous. Aristocratic family surname Qiao and aristocratic family surname Wu conflicted and fused after Yongjia Southward Migration, which again has tremendous impact upon the formation of cultural character in areas south of the Yangtze River. The political co-optation and suppression made by aristocratic family surname Qiao upon aristocratic family surname Wu constitute a crucial opportunity for the transformation of cultural character in areas south of the Yangtze River from strength into tenderness.
