AbstractRecently,the Abstract Recently,the arisen object-oriented thought brings extensive influence to GIS and its application fields．The data structure of GIS experiences all important reform signed by the advance ofthe object—oriented data model Geodatabase in ArcGIS 8． The dissertation organizes traffic data of Changchun city by Geodatabase database model of ArcGIS9．0．At first,the dissertation introduces the constitute and development course of geographic spatial data model，introduces the object-oriented data model Geodatabase，and puts forward the basis of choosing the subject and meaning of the study in the foreword part． The dissertation puts forward whole scheme of the object-oriented traffic logical database in the second chapter．Synthetically contraposing the manner to express world in GIS and the content and expression of traffic data，the dissertation puts forward the managed thought of traffic data and the technical route of founding database according to the object—oriented managed thought and manner．Final，the management scheme of Changchtm city’S traffic data is founded． The third chapter is the core of the dissertation．In this chapter,the dissertation study some aspects such as data validity,data quality,realizing traffic geometric network and reality incarnate．All this will form a particular scheme of traffic data，Based on discussing the questions jn existing data，the dissertation integrates Geodatabase data model and traffic data of Changchun city．The vatidation rules are used to insure the validity of data,which includes attribution rules，relationship rules and connectivity rules．The topology and its rules are used to insure the quality ofspatial data,which includes 26 topology rules．The geometric network iS used to realize the traffic network．Especially,the traffic data and traffic network formed by linear reference and dynamic segmentation technology make sense to the traffic data structure and traffic network query．The relationship class iS used
