Abstract. To enhance the comprehensive experiment ability and provide environmental education, an applied chemistry comprehensive experiment of preparing drilling fluid by fracturing backflow was designed in this paper. This experiment combines the basic oilfield chemicals theory, test skills and oilfield practice, which can improve students’ professional test skills, skills of analysis and problem-solving.
