Target language: how to describe animals?

Train the students’ listening skill, speaking skill and reading skill.
Train the students’ body language.

Improve the students’ English interest.

Key vocabulary.
How to pronounce the words by Phonics.
How to describe animals.
Ⅲ、Teaching Difficult Point
Students can remember the key vocabularies and the target language learned in this class.
Ⅳ、Teaching Procedures
Step1 Lead-in
Watch a video about pandas and ask students some questions about pandas like Do you like pandas? Do you think they are cute? Do you know other animals?
Step2 Activity
Show some pictures about animals like cat,elephant,lion,and so on. Ask the students to stand up and say it out loudly as soon as they can.
Step3 Presentation
Learn the new words one by one. Use Phonics, body language and sentences to remember the spellings and meanings. Ask the students some questions about animals, such as “Where can we find them?” “What color is it?”
deer [ i ] It has two horns. It is brown. We can find it in the zoo or in the forest.
spider [ b ] [ ai ] [ ? ] It has eight feet. It is white and black . It is very terrible and ugly. Do you know the Spiderman?
crab [ ? ] Have you eaten it? Do you think it’s delicious ? We can find it on the beach.

hippo [i ] [?u ] It is very fat and ugly. It has a big mouth and two small eyes. They like swimming.
kangaroo [u :] It has a big tail. It is brown .It is a good mother. There is a baby in her bag. We can find it in Austral
snail [ei] It has a big house. It walks slowly. We can find it behind the door or on the wall.
