教学过程
Steep1 Lead in
Warming up by talking about weekend activities.Ask students what they do on weekends.helping students to review some phrases and make sure the students understand simple present tense.
Step2 Learning goal
Showing students the learning goals.
Step3 Presentation
Present the new phrases:go for a walk,milk a cow,ride a horse,feed chicken,talk with a farmer,take some photos
1T:I have a friend,Carol.Let’s look at what she usually does on weekends.(show the pictures and help students understand the new phrase)
2Ptesent the simple past tens and show some simple past verbs.
Step4 work on 1a
match the phrases with the picture.
Open your book,turn to page61.Finish 1a and match the picture with the phrases.
This time try to write down the original forms of the verb in these phrases.
Memory challenge.
Give students one minute to remember the phrases in 1a. Let’s see who can memorize all the phrases.
Step5.Listening
Carol went on a school trip yesterday. Listen to the tape and choose the right answer.
Carol went to the farm.Her trio was great.What did she see there?Listen again and answer the following questions
Step6.Summary and Assignment.
Sum up the phrases of this period.The past forms of verbs.Ask students to speak out the past forms of the verbs.
Step7.Homework.
Copy the words and phrases on page 61 and review
