ABSTRAC，rABSTRACT ABSTRAC，r ABSTRACT Nowadays，the development of tourism industry is going on a high-speed way． Tourism industry has become a new growing point and the main part of national economy．Tourism industry is a typical information-depended industry which expand depend on the evolution of information．Querying,analyzing and managing tourism information become urgent problem． The development of software technology mechanism．especially the advent of object-oriented programming idea and component object model(COM)technology, bring new methods of developing software for all application systems including GIS． “Consultation Information System for Tourism based on COM technology“．which iS a important part of National 863 project‘‘the demonstration of using 3S in significant trades—tourism”．and iS not only beneficial to developing tourism information system，but also accordant砸th search，analysis and reasonable management of toudsm information．TIlis paper researches design scheme in detail．accomplishment method and key technology．The main content Can be summarized as follows： 1．Analysis the special requirement and the resource information features of tourism． 2．Design the technology schema and the framework of“Consultation Information System for Tourism“and the plan about how to divide the functional model，how to organize the data，how to construct database． 3．Research the implementation method for main function in system，也e flow of constructing database and the scheme to solve problems for key technology． 4．Take the data of Beijing eity zone an example，develop the“Consultation Information System for Tourism in Beijing‘based on“Consultation Information System for Tourism“． After complete the research，I designed the classified and coding system about tourism resources，put forward the scheme for design and integration of tourism information system based on COM，designed the structure of spatial and attribute database for the tourism resources．The mainly problems which are
