The paper concerns with the existence problem of infimum of intervals in the c.e. Wtt-degrees. We prove upward density of pairs of intervals without infimum in the c.e.Wtt- degrees. And we also prove that there are c.e. degrees a, b with b a such that for any nonrecursive c.e. set X ∈ [0, b], X and A form a minimal pair in the Wtt-degrees. 1. Introduction This paper concerns with the existence problem of infimum of intervals in the Wtt-degrees. The readers should recall that A ≤W B means that there is a recursive function γ and a functional Γ with Γ(B) = A and for all x the use γ (B ; x) ≤ γ (x). In section 2, We pay attention to existence problem of infimum of intervals in the Wtt-degrees.
