According to the Le Chatelier’s principle, when pressure increases, more CO2 will dissolve in water. ;Therefore, when pressure becomes very high, large amounts of CO2 will dissolve in water completely to form a super-saturated solution, this solution becomes very unstable when we open the Coke bottle. (According to the Henry’s law, the pressure in the bottle decreases when we open it, it means the amount of gas that can dissolve in a liquid also decreases, therefore, some CO2 gas will escape from the liquid.);The principle of reaction; Remember that the solution is at supersaturate state and it is extremely unstable, if a interference point occurs in the solution, the balance will be broken and lots of CO2 gas will come out of the solution. (H2CO3----H2O+CO2 ) The solution will eventually reach its equilibrium point. This whole process results in the phenomenon we saw in the vedio.;Thanks for watching!
