Secondly, my sincere thanks also go to all the teachers in the English Department of University of International Business and Economics who have instructed my thesis and courses and who have offered me great help during my study for the degree of M.A. Last but not the least, I owe my heartfelt gratitude to my family for their love, support to face all difficulties and achieve more in my life Guo Si May 2014 II II 摘 要 自译是翻译中的一种特殊现象，作为一种作者与译者相结合的翻译模式，较他 译而言自译有其自身的独特性。自译者通常被看作是原文理想的阐释者，自译者比 他译者更容易传达原文的意义与精神。由于在一定程度上摆脱了原文与忠实标准的 束缚，自译者比他译者在翻译策略上拥有了一定的自由度，会对原文作一些修改与 调整，以增强译文的可读性与可接受性。自译者往往更多地考虑到读者的期待视野。 互文性概念是由法国文论家克里斯蒂娃于 20 世纪 60 年代末首次提出的，她认为任 何一个文本都是在吸收和转换其他文本的基础上形成的。经过不断的发展与完善， 它已延伸并渗透到了美学、心理学、哲学、翻译学等诸多领域。本文在互文性视角 下从自译者对原文的完成，对文本的阐释以及对文本的改写三个方面以及微观互文 方面出发对比自译和他译，总结出自译的优势。意义在于使他译者在今后的翻译中 得以借鉴和改进。翻译的目的在于交流，因此在互文性视角下对比自译与他译可以 帮助更多的学者反思翻译的实质和忠实的翻译标准。虽然自译还不是翻译的主流， 但随着翻译的不断发展，全球化的不断推进，自译将会极大的促进文化的交流与发 展。 关键词：自译，他译，互文性理论 PAGE PAGE IV ABSTRACT A Comparative Study on Self-translation and Conventional Translation from the Perspective of Intertextuality Guo Si Self-translation is a particular phenomenon of translation. As a kind of translation mode, the combination of the author and the translator, self-translation has its own uniqueness. The self-translator is often regarded as the ideal interpreter of the original text. Compared with the conventional translator, self-translator is much easier for translator to convey the intended meaning and reach the spirit of the original.
