It reflected the educational differences and conflicts between China and American. This paper attempts to analyze these differences. As we all know, education is the basis of the nation. And the family education is vey important to a man. Chinese people prefer the closed education and think good achievements in study is very important, while, American people prefer the open form of education. Chinese and American family education is difference in many aspects, just as aims, contents and methods. Of course, these differences are caused by the different cultures and different social conditions. By comparing these different kinds of family education, the author wants to learn other’s experience to make up for our own defects, so as to find a pattern to promoting our country’s family education.
