COⅣ噼REHENSIVE COⅣ噼REHENSIVE EVALUATION ON THE NEW URBANIZATION QUALITY OF D寸NER MONGOLIA AB STRACT Since the reform and opening up，with the rapid development of industrialization，urbanization industrialization has developed rapidly as well， which has drawn more and more attention．Urbanization level has been an important symbol of measuring degree of social organization and level of management in a country or region area．But now in some cities，the speed and the quality of urbanization do not match as well．They always prefer the expansion of ‘‘quantity’’to the promotion of‘‘quality’’．which leads to a series of the quality problem of the urban development．Therefore，it is urgent to improve the quality of urbanization and build a quality evaluation index system of urbanization． Firstl5 on the basis of literature research，this paper clarifies the meaning of urbanization and urbanization quality,and then quality evaluation system of urbanization is built．In this system，the urbanization quality is divided into six subsystems，including economy urbanization，population urbanization，social Il 万方数据 urbanization，space urbanization，space urbanization，residents live urbanization and ecological environment urbanization． Secondly,with the help of SPSS20．0，this paper generally measures urbanization quality of 1 1 cities in Inner Mongolia from 2005 to 20 1 4 using principal component analysis method．And then the urbanization quality score of each subsystem is calculated separately in this paper．And on this basis this paper analyzes status and characteristics of the space and time and space evolution of urbanization quality in Inner Mongolia with space visual expressing charts and data of Arcgis．And the spatial difference characteristic and causes of subsystems are analyzed．The result shows the urbanization quality of Inner Mongolia in central region is higher than the eastem and westem regions．In addition，this paper compares evaluated score for urbanization quality of sub
