中国家庭食物消费的碳.水.生态足迹及气候变化减缓策略优化研究Study 中国家庭食物消费的碳.水.生态足迹及气候变化减缓策略优化研究 Study on Carbon.-Water·-Ecological Footprint of Chinese Household Food Consumption and Diet Optimization for Climate Change Mitigation Abstract Food consumption function as a driver to the dual occurrence of non-communicative disease and climate change.A large quantity ofwater and land resources were consumed along with huge amount of greenhouse gasses emission.Quantifying the environmental impact of food consumption(waste)and fu/ther changing diet according to diet optimization,dually benefit to mitigate climate change,conserve water and land resources,as well as improve human health. This study includes two sections.For one aspect,based on household survey dataset,this study calculated the food consumption and waste,on which we quantified the food associated carbon,water and ecological footprints.Factors influencing food consumption and waste were further investigated.For another,we conducted the uncertainty optimization to find out the optimal diet that minimize the potential of climate change while meeting multiple constrains of nutrition intakes for human health.The resuIts are as follows. (1)In terms of food consumption and waste,the average grams of food waste (consumption)per capital is 1 6(4 1 5)kg yr-1,respectively,equal to annual 40(1 080)kg C02e of carbon footprint,1 8(673)m3 of water footprint and 1 73(4956)grn2 of ecological footprint. From a structure perspective,consumption of vegetables,rice and wheat rank the top three in Chinese household total intakes,and linear regression is found out between food waste and consumption僻=o.97).Animal.derived food accounts for 1 5%of total household food consumption,but illustrated a disproportional contribution to the footprint magnitude, responsible for 34%,3 7%and 44%of carbon,water and ecological footprint,respectively.
