A b A bstract T he paper applies analysis m ethod of sedim entary facie，reveals the sedim entary environm ent characteristics of coal-bearing basin, to explore the victory basin coal-bearing sedim entary environm ents and coal-accum ulating characteristics. D raw the figure of sedim entary section,prepare the figure of ancientenvironm ents,analysis the basin evolution and coal-accum ulating characteristics. A nalysis and research drilling lithologic in the victory basins, alluvial fan depositional system s,fan delta depositional system s,lake sedim entary system s and river depositional system s are very develop in basin.T he longitudinalchanges of sedim entary system , m ainly influence by the sam e sedim entary fracture and provenance supply. B asin evolution m ainly experience: the accum ulation phase of alluvial coarse clastic in bottom , the sedim entary stage under the coal-bearing clastic, the sedim entary stage of lacustrine fine elastic,the sedim entary stage on the coal-bearing clastic,the sedim entary stage top clastic. T he m ain coal-form ing environm ent in basin:peat sw am p coal-accum ulating, shore-lacuatrine coal-accum ulating and fan delta coal-accum ulating. T he cause of the giantthick coal seam in basin belong to peat sw am p coal-accum ulating.
