A A STUDY ON FINANCIAL INVESTMENT ON EDUCATl0N IN FANGCHENGGANG C I TY ABSTRACT Municipal financial investment on education will encourage breakthroughs in hi曲 technologies and their transformation into productivity，which will promote the economic development and benefit the whole society．Tbis paper mainly explores the financial investment on education in Fangchenggang City in order to guarantee the quality，equity and diversity of the education in Fangchenggang SO that a learning society will be fostered． What’s more，the paper also provides solutions and suggestions to the educational development in Fangchenggang． This paper finds out the problems in Fanchenggang’S financial investment on education and offers some reasonable solutions after the analysis of the scale，structure and efficiency of the fmancial investment on education．The paper consists of five parts．The first part introduces the background，purpose and meaning of this research，organizes the relevant domestic and foreign literatures，and discusses the research content and research methods． The second part explores the relevant theories on financial investment on education．The third part demonstrates the present situation of educational development in Fangchenggang through statisfieal data and analyzes the scale and structure of the financial investment on education by using statistical approach and location quotient method．And then a EDA model is established to empirically analyze the efficiency of input and output of the financial investment of education．Based on the above analysis，the problems of the financial investment of education are found：the scale of financial investment of education in Fangchenggang City is unreasonable，unbalanced financial investment of education among regions and the efficiency of educational input does not match that of the educational output． In the last part of the paper，some measurements are suggested to address the problems，such aS increasing the the financial inv
