英文摘要Subject： 英文摘要 Subject： A study on the sedimentary facies of the carbonate rocks in Alashan district Speciality： Minerals ReconnaissanceProspecting Name： Zhao Ming(signature lnstructor： Yang Youyun(signature ABSTRACT ne upper Carboniferous Amushan Formation carnonate rock of Alashan district was mostly deposited in northem Alashan ancient land,which interbeded、^，im coal-rocks that developed from tidal fiat facies．Main rock types are掣ey or孕ey—black thick bed calcsparite organic-scraps limestone，calcsparite arene—gravel limestone，organic—scraps micrite limestone and arene micfite limestone．Organic—scraps included crinoid，Spindle wornl，subprimed by bryozoan,brachiopod，and gastropod．Research block rocks have a preferable combination of hydrocarbon rock,reservoirs and seal condition,SO oil and gas resources prospect deserved expectation．However,the slaucture of the research area is complicated and variable，plus the distribution of sedimentary facies have not been conformed,both Can impede further oil and gas exploration． Tllis article is based on the field geology investigation and geochemical analysis data, usmg contemporary theories of sedimentology,paleogeography and tectonics， comprehensively analysed avmlable exploration information and study fruits of predecessors， collected and studied signs of sedimentology,palaeobiology and geochemistry,systematically study the background of sedimentary and tetonics，included activities of the synchronizing discordogenic fault and charactcres of volcano activities，and SO on． Finally classified Carboniferous structural unit and carbonate sedimentary facies．We Can get the result that Amushan Formation of upper Carboniferous in Alashan area was mostly developed Carbonate open platform facies，which Can further divided into platform，platform margin shallows， carbonate tide flat,reef and restricted platform，etc，and most of those are carbonate platform margin facies． Key words：Alashan；upper Carboniferous；Amushan Formation；carbonate
