The 5hydroxytryptamine immunoreactive cells were distributed t hroughout t he digestive tract wit h t he highest density in t he stomachus p yloricus , t he second highest in t he duodenum , fewer in t he oesop hagus , stomachus cardiacus and rectum . The gastrin immunoreac tive cells were located mainly in t he stomachus pyloricus and occasionally in different p art s of t he intestine . The somato statin immunoreactive cells occured mainly in t he stomach , frequently in t he stomachus p yloricus , and occasionally in dif ferent p art s of t he intestine .
