ABSTRACTThe ABSTRACT The global financial crisis since 2008 exposures deeply the shortage of China’S industry development which makes profit in international industry chain at the cost of destroying environment，wasting resources and exploiting labor．In order to occupy some market share for Chinese products in the economy globalization，it is urgent to upgrade the industry in China．China must change its simple and extensive economic growth mode，form new economic growth point by improving the technology,art and culture content in the products，and effectuate the change from Made in China to Create in China．Meanwhile，China should pay attention tO environmental protection and keep on the sustainable development．It is art that is the important link to realize the transformation．Chinese higher education of art and design foster design talents and shoulder unprecedented historical mission．It cannot foster excellent talents in design to meet the needs of national development without good education in art and design．Since China’S reform and opening up，China’S higher education of art and design develops greatly with some problems emerging．It is an important topic for OUr considering and discussion that how does OUr higher art and design education follows the development trend and supports our industry upgrade． The author once studied in New Zealand and knew and was influenced unconsciously by western advanced art and design education． On the basis of researching and referencing UNITEC’S design education mode，the article analyzes the training mode，industry connecting and the relationship relationship with sustainable development of our higher education of art and design，and proposes some suggestions to provide reference for the future development of our higher education on art and design． Key words：Industry Upgrade， Sustainable Development，Higher Education Of Art and Design，Design Talents m 目 目 录 摘要· ············································································
